Catechists
The ministry of Catechists is a vital part of the life of the Church in Australia. These men and women, from all stages in life and backgrounds, take half an hour out of their lives each week to go into our public schools and teach the Catholic students there a little about our faith. For many of them, it is the only formation and teaching they will receive.
Wahroonga Parish has LOST 3
long serving scripture teachers
due to family commitments and
travel. Unless we can recruit
some new catechists, our children
in the State Schools will not have a scripture
teacher this year.
Scripture is a weekly commitment of 1/2 hour.
The lessons are prepared for you and I am willing
to help and support you in this very important
ministry. If you can help, my number is
