Music
Music is an important part of the liturgy at Holy Name. There are several different music groups that animate each Mass, as well as other special occasions.
Organ music is used to support congregational, choir and cantor singing at the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses, weddings and funerals. Keyboard music is used to support Prouille school children's involvement once a month at the Sunday morning Mass. The singing is lead by our wonderful team of Cantors. If you'd like to find out more, or get involved, please contact:

WYSPERS
The WYSPERS music group, who play during Sunday night Mass, would like to extend a huge inv
itation to all musicians of the parish. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or would like to help out with the announcements and other areas, we'd love to have you there. Generally the older group (16yrs +) coverthe 1st, 2nd and 5th Sundays of each month, while the younger group (12-16yrs) cover the 3rd and 4th Sundays, but anyone is welcome to come along each week. We would especially love to have some more singers, and some guitarists. We rehearse from 4:30pm before Mass.
The Choir
Holy Name is blessed with a fantastic choir, who sing at alternating Sunday morning Masses, as well as other parish events. They rehearse on Thursday evenings. They welcome all new recruits - to get involved, please contact Gus Almgren on 9487 2367.
Childrens Choir
Any children interested in joining the newly formed Children's Choir, please contact Saree Zaragoza on: itssaree@yahoo.com. Practice will be Friday afternoon after school at the Church. Even if you can't make that time but are interested, please contact Saree. We may sing at the ocassional Mass but mostly this is for fun.
