Local Schools
Our parish school is Prouille, a primary school (K-6) founded by the Dominican nuns. There are also many other local Catholic schools, including several serving children with disabilites.
Prouille
Prouille School is located in near-by Water St, allowing the children and staff to be a vibrant part of our parish community. This is especially experienced through the Family Masses, where each class takes their turn to run our Sunday morning Mass once a month. This is a fantastic way for the families of the children to experience our parish, and for our parishionners to be reminded of our place in the community. We greatly encourage all families to take part in these special occasions.
St Leo's
St Leo's Catholic college offers high school education to girls and boys, Yr 7-12.
Loreto Normanhurst
Loreto Normanhurst is a private girls high school, educating girls from Yr 7-12 in the tradition of Mary Ward.
St Lucy's
St Lucy's school offers education to primary school children with a range of disabilites. The face ofspecial education is constantly changing due to changes in policy, parental choice and the prevalence of different educational needs, but through it all, St Lucy's retains the Dominican commitment to those children whose rights and needs call for particular imagination, dedication and love.
St Edmund's
St. Edmund's is a Year 7-12 co-educational special high school for students with vision impairment and other special needs. As a school in the Tradition of Edmund Rice, the Founder of the Christian Brothers, who himself had a daughter with a disability, we work in partnership with parents and staff to ensure this spirit continues.
