Where are you called?

We are each called to a vocation in this life, as part of our life long journey towards our heavenly home. Whether called to marriage, the priesthood, religious or single life, we will only find true joy and peace when we are where God wants us to be.

Vocations

The Church calls every single person to discern their vocation - be it to the priesthood, religious life, marriage, single life. Here, we hope to provide information about events and services that are being offered to help each of you in your discernment - a lifelong process!

Mass for Vocations

A Mass for Vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious Life will be celebrated in the parish at 9.15am on this Sunday 29th June 2008, the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul. The Ku- Ring-Gai and Hornsby Circles of the Catenians, an Association of committed Catholic laymen, have arranged for the celebration of this Mass. On the same day it is planned to have 2000 or more Masses for the same intention throughout the world wherever the Catenian Association is active. This is the Centenary Year of the foundation of the Catenian Association. Catenians thought there would be few better ways to celebrate than to have these Masses on the feast of the patrons of the Association. For further information on the Catenians: please call Chris Vale 9489 2923 or email: cvale@bigpond.net.au
